HELP's Mission

"HELP Foundation empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through residential, day support, vocational, and summer education programs to choose services and opportunities as respected and valued members of the community."

 HELP U Crew Launched

In our ongoing effort to provide more real-world vocational training that meets the demands of our consumers and potential employers HELP has begun the HELP U Crew!
These employees are all HELP consumers who have experience with our successful HELP U Shred program and were eager to move into different job skills.  This new program will provide participants with experience and skills in landscaping, custodial, and physical plant maintenance.  Currently we have five employees supervised by a job coach who is instructing them in lawn mowing, trimming, and flower bed upkeep as well as janitorial duties.  When the weather changes they will begin learning interior painting and other building maintenance tasks.  All of their skills are being put to good use at HELP facilities and homes across our service area. As with all HELP vocational programs the HELP U Crew are paid the full State of Ohio minimum wage for their work rather than a reduced training rate as allowed by law.

HELP's vocational training program for adults provides top quality service for all your document destruction and recycling needs!
