Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are so excited to be celebrating the one-year anniversary of the opening of Susanna’s Café by HELP Harvest at the Cleveland Foundation today, July 15th! This incredible milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support, kindness, and generosity of the community.
Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to create a welcoming space where everyone can enjoy fresh healthy food while providing vocational training for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your patronage has been crucial in helping us achieve our goals while promoting a more inclusive and accepting community. Working in community jobs allows individuals with IDD to gain a sense of accomplishment and pride. Earning a paycheck and contributing to the community enhances self-esteem and provides a sense of purpose. Susanna’s Café by HELP Harvest provides training and firsthand experience that helps people achieve their dream of working at a job they love. Each time you purchase an item at Susanna’s Café by HELP Harvest, you are supporting a mission, fulfilling people’s dreams of wanting to be productive and included.
As we reflect on this past year, we are filled with gratitude for each and every one of you who has walked through our doors, purchased our fresh and healthy food offerings, made a donation, or spread the word about our work. Your belief in our mission inspires us every day.
Please visit Susanna’s Café by HELP Harvest this week and enjoy special giveaways and anniversary menu items. We are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 6601 Euclid Avenue.
Thank you once again for your incredible support. Here’s to many more years of vocational training, compassion, and coffee!
Sincerely,
Tamara S. Honkala
