Nottingham Home

In 1989, HELP began addressing the needs of older adults with disabilities. Together with the Cuyahoga County Board of Mental Retardation, HELP Foundation began services, in a group home setting, to eight elderly adults who have mental retardation and other disabilities. Located in the Collinwood section of Cleveland, Nottingham Home is a large, accommodating home that was renovated to address the special needs of the residents. This program is part of an ongoing effort to create a continuum of opportunities for persons with developmental disabilities to be integrated into the community with normal living situations. Residents participate in a variety of day activities, ranging from senior programs to community employment.
