HELP Housing for the DisabledFair Housing

In 1992, HELP began to address the needs of its individuals who had surpassed the goals of semi–independent living but required additional training before progressing to fully independent status (living in the community with staff assistance). HELP Housing for the Disabled was created. Residents of the 24 apartments, that are clustered on three sites, reside on East and West sides of Cleveland. One–story units with paved sidewalks connecting each apartment and the on–site management office offer accessibility for the residents. Staff assists them in apartment maintenance, money management, cooking, shopping and accessing resources in the community.
